First time playing in sand at the beach and first time hair in pigtails!

Hi!

We took Faith to the beach so she could actually play in the sand for the first time. She LOVED it! It was such a pretty night. I think we are going to have to get her a sandbox!

We also were able to put her hair in pigtails for the first time! She looked so cute if I do say so myself! Hehe.....

Hi Everyone!

We had a nice Easter weekend with my mom and sisters in Ocean City MD. It was very relaxing and we got to go swimming. Though, we missed my dad very much. It just wasnt the same. She loved playing in the pool!!! It was a little windy and cool, but overall very nice.

I finished school today! I just have to take the final now in the next few weeks. I am so excited to be done!

Billy and I have both been sick for the last few days. I actually wound up in the ER on Monday night b/c I was having a hard time breathing due to this darn cold. I went back to the doctor today, still running a fever so they started me on an antibiotic and an inhaler. The babys heartrate was in the 150s, so that was good!

The top picture was the first ultrasound we had where they found the heartbeat, if you look real close there are 2 + in between there is a white line, that is where the heartbeat was found. The next one the baby has his hands up by his/her face and the dark white areas are bones in the face. This 2nd pic was 4 weeks later! We went from a blob to a baby!

Hi everyone! We had a eventful weekend. We took Faith to this play area that her therapist reccomended at a local mall. She LOVED it! We also went to Busch Gardens. It is a whole new experience that she can ride some of the rides! She was so cute, whenever she was on a ride she goes weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... It was just so cute! She also loves animals. They have a pet show there and we took her to see it. She giggled at it! She is just getting so big and it is so fun to see her personality develop!

She took her first steps this past Sunday, first to mommy and then to daddy. She can only take 1-2 steps and then falls. She still thinks it is just faster to get down and crawl! She had her therapy appt. today and they have determined she has done so well that they are dropping her to once a month as opposed to every week. They may work on speech with her instead. Trying to get her to communicate more with us, like pointing to something she wants.

I had a doctor appt yesterday. They ended up doing an ultrasound to try and confirm my actual date. All I can say is wow. It brought back memories of the ultrasounds I had with Faith, and it made this pregnancy feel very real all of the sudden. I got to hear the heartbeat for the first time. The heartbeat was 164, which was perfect! There is such a difference from the first ultrasound where it looked like a blob and now it looks like a baby. You could see his/her arms, legs, head, body.. It was just so neat. Everything with the baby is doing well. I am going to be 11 weeks on Thursday March 2oth. My next ultrasound is on April 1st and Billy has scheduled to be there.

Update with pictures

Hi everyone!

We finally got some pictures off of our camera. We have been doing well. Faith is getting so big before our eyes. We started taking her to a place called The Little Gym. She LOVES it. They work with the kids on motor skills, they sing songs, do tumbling things, flips, etc. She was even hanging off the monkey bars! Last week they blew up this big air trampoline and she got to jump on it. She is doing very well with early intervention for her walking. Though, she is not walking yet, they feel she is really close.

The pregnancy is going well so far. I am coming up on 10 weeks now, which is hard to believe. We just feel so blessed with this pregnancy, my only sadness is the fact that my dad will never meet this baby. I know he is in heaven though, looking down on us and that is a small comfort.

Billy is doing well. His job with Stihl is going really great. He has gotten alot of compliments from his bosses lately. He is getting ready to start playing softball again this spring.

I am doing well with my job. It has been a learning curve, trying to juggle a new job and be at home with Faith. I am so lucky that I am able to stay at home and work and take care of her. I just started with a local company a couple weeks ago and it has gone really well.
